Supervision details
My supervision fee: £60 for 1.5 hours. I offer student rates, for further information please contact me.
I am an integrative supervisor providing supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors. I am an accredited registrant with the NCPS, however I am fully aware and remain updated with the Ethical Framework of the BACP.
I offer a FREE 30 minutes initial meeting, with no pressure attached, this is simply a meeting to see if we would like to work together and if what I offer meets your needs. If we both agree to work together, the next steps will be to book a supervision in at a mutually convenient time. I offer both daytime and evening appointments.
As a supervisor I aim to be encouraging, supportive, collaborative and informative in relation to your client work, empowering you to work with your clients in a more effective way to help them achieve their desired outcome. I offer a safe, confidential space, within a mutually respectful and trustworthy relationship where you will feel valued, seen and heard. This enabling you to explore and reflect giving you a deeper insight into your client work, and addressing the thoughts and feelings that arise within you, while also giving you the opportunity to further grow as a counsellor both personally and professionally.
As a supervisor I work within an integrative approach using the ‘CLEAR’ Model, adapting supervision to meet your individual needs as my supervisee. Through this model I will monitor your practice and ensure that you are working within the ethical framework of your membership body. I will actively listen and support you in gaining an understanding of your client work, ensuring that the needs for your clients are being addressed. While enabling you to identify any areas that require attention as well as any strategies required moving forward.
As a supervisor I will support you in exploring the impact your client work may be having on you and challenge you to think through different possibilities moving forward. And finally reflecting on what has been explored and learnt through supervision from each other.
The ‘CLEAR’ Model outlines a step by step process, which stands for:
· Contracting
· Listening
· Exploring
· Action
· Review
If you would like to know more or to book an initial meeting, please contact me. Within this first meeting will be your chance to ask myself any questions, to make sure your needs will be met and gauge whether we could work together.
