Supervision details

I am an HCPC-registered and Chartered Counselling Psychologist with over 16 years' experience working in both NHS and private practice settings. I offer clinical supervision to qualified practitioners, trainee psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists and other mental health professionals.

My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective and supportive. Grounded in counselling psychology values, I aim to create a warm and thoughtful space where supervisees can explore their clinical work, develop confidence in their practice, and deepen their therapeutic understanding.

As an integrative practitioner, I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches including CBT, CAT, ACT, DBT, CFT and MANTRA, tailoring supervision to your individual learning needs and professional goals.

I have particular expertise in:

Eating disorders and disordered eating
OCD and anxiety disorders
Depression and low self-esteem
Body image concerns
Neurodiversity
Relationship difficulties
Complex and high-risk presentations
Working within NHS and private practice settings

Alongside my clinical work, I hold a senior psychologist role within a specialist NHS eating disorders service and have spent many years serving as a Research Champion, supporting large-scale research collaborations with leading universities. This enables me to bring both clinical and research-informed perspectives into supervision.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
