Supervision details
I understand that choosing the right supervisor is an important decision. The supervisory relationship is built on trust, openness, and mutual respect, so it is essential that you feel comfortable and confident in your choice. To support this, I offer a complimentary 30-minute introductory meeting, either online or face to face. This informal session provides an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss your supervision needs, ask any questions you may have, and explore how we might work together. It also gives you the space to decide whether my approach and style of supervision feel like the right fit for your professional development and ongoing practice, with no obligation to continue.
My supervision practice is grounded in an integrative approach, with the person-centred philosophy at its core. I believe that effective supervision is built on a trusting, collaborative relationship where supervisees feel safe to reflect openly, develop professionally, and enhance their practice in the best interests of their clients.
I primarily work using the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, which offers a comprehensive framework for exploring client work, the therapeutic relationship, the supervisee’s internal process, and the wider organisational and systemic influences. However, I recognise that every supervisee has unique learning styles, experiences, and professional needs. For this reason, I draw on a range of supervision models and adapt my approach to ensure that supervision remains responsive, meaningful, and relevant to your practice.
Supervision is a reflective and supportive process that encourages curiosity, ethical awareness, critical thinking, and professional development. Alongside exploring clinical work and ethical considerations, I provide a space to recognise strengths, build confidence, and consider the impact of the work on both the practitioner and their clients.
I offer:
* Individual supervision
* Group supervision
* Paired supervision sessions
Sessions are available either online or face to face, providing flexibility to meet your preferences and circumstances. Whether you are a trainee counsellor, newly qualified practitioner, or an experienced professional, supervision is tailored to support your ongoing learning, maintain safe and ethical practice, and promote your wellbeing throughout your professional journey.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
