I have had over 30+ years of experience offering supervision to both trainees and qualified Psychotherapists, Group Analysts and Nurses. I provide psychodynamic/psychoanalytic and group analytic supervision. Whether you are a trainee or a qualified therapist, I have experience supervising at a variety of levels of experience.

I was a Supervisor for M1 trainees in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust for three years. I have had many years of teaching as an IGA seminar leader for the Qualifying course in Group Analysis. I was the experiential group conductor for the Foundation course in Group Analysis for twelve years.

I have experience with organisational consultancy and have over a decade of experience in running reflective practice groups in various organisations such as the NHS and Dementia UK. 

As Director for Research and Clinical Consultancy with the charity Dementia UK I also provided group supervision to specialist Nurses in Dementia care. I have qualified as a Supervisor at the IGA and am registered as a supervisor on the UKCP register.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
