Supervision details
As a warm, empathic, and trauma-informed integrative therapist with over 14 years’ experience, I offer nurturing clinical supervision that prioritises supervisee development and relational depth. My approach creates a safe, supportive space where trainee, newly qualified, and experienced counsellors can explore their work with genuine warmth and understanding.
Central to my philosophy is fostering deep reflection and examining the complexities of transference and counter-transference dynamics. I believe that meaningful supervisee development occurs through exploring these relational processes, helping counsellors understand their emotional responses and use them therapeutically. My integrative approach helps support supervisees to develop authentic therapeutic relationships with their clients.
I understand the importance of creating genuine connection and trust in supervision, allowing development and growth to be an enjoyable process. My BACP/UKCP-aligned practice emphasises reflective exploration, professional growth, and the development of relational skills to enhance therapeutic effectiveness while maintaining robust ethical standards and safeguarding protocols.
