Supervision details
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, Accredited CBT Therapist, Schema Therapist, and EMDR Practitioner, as well as an experienced clinical supervisor and trainer. Alongside my clinical work, I am passionate about supporting other therapists in developing their confidence, skills, and professional identity.
My approach to supervision is integrative, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. Drawing on a range of therapeutic models, I aim to support you in thinking deeply about your clinical work while also creating space to reflect on your own responses, challenges, and growth as a practitioner. I believe supervision is not only about ensuring safe and ethical practice, but also about nurturing the therapist behind the work.
I have extensive experience working with complex presentations, including Eating Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Complex PTSD, and neurodivergence. I hold a particular specialism in Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and the many forms of OCD, alongside the lasting impact of trauma. This allows me to support supervisees working with both specialist and more general client groups.
My professional background includes working in specialist trauma-informed psychotherapy services, eating disorder services, and NHS mental health settings, where I supported individuals experiencing depression and anxiety disorders. Alongside my private practice, I continue to provide training and supervision, contributing to the development of high-quality, thoughtful care within the field.
I am particularly passionate about supporting therapists working with neurodivergent clients, and about adapting therapeutic approaches so they truly fit the individual. This principle also underpins my supervisory work, recognising that each therapist brings their own style, strengths, and areas for growth.
I offer a reflective, supportive, and containing supervisory space where you can explore your work openly, think creatively, and feel supported in both the rewards and challenges of clinical practice. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, my aim is to help you work safely, ethically, and sustainably, while continuing to grow in confidence and depth.
Supervision can be offered in person in North Wales or online, providing flexibility to suit your needs.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
