Supervision details

I am a fully qualified clinical supervisor and integrative counsellor, holding an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision, including Online and Telephone Working, and I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can bring your whole self, not just your 'therapist hat'.

I believe supervision should be more than just case management or ticking ethical boxes. It’s a space to reflect, recharge and be real. A space where you can explore client work, but also the emotional impact of the role, the doubts, the wins, and the messy in-between bits. Whether you’re juggling private practice, training, teaching, health issues or family life, I aim to offer a space where all of that is welcome.

I’ve worked in bereavement, domestic abuse, and private practice, and I understand what it’s like to hold difficult stories while still trying to stay connected to your own wellbeing and identity. My background also includes counselling education and performance work, so I bring both heart and structure to what I offer.

My approach is down to earth, relational and reflective. I’m here to support you to feel grounded, confident, and resourced, and to help you stay connected to the kind of therapist you want to be. I really value authenticity, integrity and warmth in this work, and I try to bring all of that into the supervision space.

If you’re looking for a supervisor who sees the whole of you and not just the role, I’d love to hear from you.

I offer a reduced rate for trainee counsellors—please feel free to get in touch for more details.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
