Supervision details
In my supervisory practice, I prioritise creating a strong, supportive relationship with each supervisee, recognising that this relationship serves as a vital modeling tool for professional growth and development. I believe that a trusting, collaborative dynamic fosters an environment where you can explore your challenges and successes openly. My approach integrates both face-to-face and online sessions, ensuring flexibility that accommodates your needs.
The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my supervisory practice. By modeling effective communication, empathy, and understanding, I aim to create a safe space where you can reflect on your experiences and gain deeper insights into your practice. This relationship not only facilitates your growth but also enhances your understanding of the dynamics you will encounter wit
I utilise protors model as a framework for our work together:
1. Normative: In this aspect, we will focus on the ethical and professional standards that guide our practice. We will discuss best practices, explore case studies, and ensure that your work aligns with the expectations of our profession. This component reinforces your understanding of the foundational principles that govern our field.
2. Formative: This is about your personal and professional development. Together, we will engage in reflective practices that encourage you to explore your strengths, areas for growth, and unique therapeutic style. I will provide constructive feedback and support as you develop your skills, helping you to build confidence in your abilities as a counsellor.
3. Restorative: Recognising the emotional toll our work can take, this model emphasizes self-care and resilience. We will create space for you to process the challenges you face in your practice, discussing strategies to manage stress and avoid burnout. I believe that nurturing your well-being is essential to your effectiveness as a counsellors.
I offer both face-to-face and online supervision options to ensure accessibility and comfort. Whether we meet in person or connect virtually, my commitment to fostering a supportive environment remains the same. Each session will be tailored to your needs, providing an opportunity for open dialogue, reflection, and skill development.
By combining a strong supervisory relationship with the normative, formative, and restorative framework, I strive to support your journey as a counsellor. Together, we will navigate the complexities of your practice, empowering you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of your clients while ensuring your own growth and well-being. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you in your professional development.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
