Counselling Directory earns PIF TICK certification for third consecutive year

Happiful’s Counselling Directory has once again been awarded the PIF TICK, the UK’s only assessed quality mark for print and online health and care information, following successful assessments in 2023, 2024, and now, 2025.

To maintain our status as a ‘trusted information creator’, the Counselling Directory team undergoes a rigorous assessment each year, demonstrating that we consistently meet the 10 key criteria set out by the Patient Information Forum (PIF). This ongoing recognition means you can be confident that the information you're reading, watching or listening to is evidence-based, clear, jargon-free, up-to-date, and produced to the highest possible standard.

Launched in May 2020, the PIF TICK is managed by the non-profit Patient Information Forum (PIF). To help people find trusted health information and raise awareness of PIF TICK-accredited members, PIF introduced a public website, piftick.org.uk, in July 2021. The site also features helpful guides on topics such as spotting false health information and understanding what makes evidence reliable.
