About me

My name is Sue, and I provide face-to-face, online, and remote Counselling, Supervision, and Hypnotherapy.

I specialise in supporting people experiencing Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Work-Related Stress, Relationship Difficulties, and many other mental health challenges. If you’d like to explore how I can help, I offer a free short consultation—please feel free to contact me on 07944 445548.

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and an NCH Accredited Hypnotherapist, with over 25 years’ experience working with individuals, couples, and groups. By integrating my skills and knowledge, I aim to help you regain control, make positive changes, and move forward in life.

I understand that people often reach out for help during their most difficult times. My role is to offer a safe, supportive space to explore what you’re going through and work with you at a pace that suits your needs—because you don’t have to face it alone.

I offer sessions both in person and online (via FaceTime, WhatsApp, Zoom, Messenger). Thanks to digital technology, I can provide support anywhere in the world where English is spoken.

My passion lies in helping people develop a deeper understanding of themselves—their patterns, their behaviours, and their choices—so they can build the tools and confidence to live more freely, beyond the constraints of stress, anxiety, or low self-esteem.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that therapy begins with a foundation of trust—and that’s something I’m deeply committed to building with every client I work with.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
