About me
I believe we all have within us the capacity to grow, heal and flourish. Yet for many the challenges we experience throughout life, especially in childhood, can create barriers that make it hard to access this potential. We may have developed patterns of thinking, feeling or behaving that once helped us survive but now hold us back. At other times, early experiences or relationships may have left us feeling unsure of how to connect with ourselves or others in the present.
These difficulties can surface in many ways: anxiety that feels crippling, sadness or anger that feels overwhelming, or a persistent sense of being stuck or disconnected. Over time, our ways of coping however effective they once were can become part of the very barrier that prevents us from living with the ease, confidence and fulfilment we long for.
In our work together, I aim to create a space of curiosity, safety and understanding, where you can begin to unravel the experiences that continue to shape your inner world. Together we can explore how your past informs your present, and find new, more satisfying ways of relating to yourself, to others and to life as a whole.
I have experience working with a wide range of people and life situations including those adjusting to major transitions, living with loss or trauma, navigating complex relationships, or seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their purpose. For some, therapy provides a chance to heal from the impact of specific experiences; for others, it becomes a journey of rediscovery and personal growth.
My intention is to meet you where you are, and to accompany you as you make sense of your story, reconnect with your strengths, and find your own way forward.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
