Well-being walking group
Walking is an activity many of us enjoy. The gentle, rhythmic movement is grounding and, of course, being outdoors in nature can feel very uplifting; when did you ever come back from a walk feeling worse than you did when you left home?
Another thing which supports our well-being is connection with other people. We are social animals, so whether it's a light-hearted chat with a neighbour about the weather, or a heart-to-heart with a friend, spending time with others is important.
With these things in mind, I'm starting a monthly well-being walking group. It's open to everyone - adults, children and four-legged friends. The weekend walks will be leisurely, in some of the lovely opens spaces on the Wirral, lasting around 1.5 to 2 hours. It's free to join in, so why not come along and give it a go?
