Mountain therapy workshop
Aim of the workshop:
- to deliver some CBT tools and techniques to help reduce the symptoms of anxiety and depression in a relaxed and supportive group setting within a mountainous environment.
- Low-level hill walking lead by a qualified mountain leader and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) therapist.
- No experience required just a basic level of fitness. Pace will be suitable for all involved with plenty of stops to admire the view and learn some useful coping techniques.
Group size: Max 6
Duration: 4 hours, meeting @ 10am finish for 2pm
Cost: £45 per person
Location: Pentland Hills, Edinburgh

I qualified as a Mountain Leader in 2007, this enables me to safely take groups out in a mountainous environment. I qualified as a CBT Therapist in 2014, since then I have been seeing clients and delivering group therapy within West Lothian. I am now delighted to combine these two passions and deliver mountain therapy.
