Introduction to working with body awareness
Introduction to working with body awareness
- 8 Saturdays over 6 months
- Taught by Lindsay Fovargue
This course is suitable for qualified counsellors who wish to learn more about working with body awareness to enhance their clinical skills.
Building on existing skills, it aims to complement past training no matter what modality and enhance experienced counsellors' clinical practice so they can work more confidently and competently with body awareness. It introduces topics that highlight the relevance of body awareness to clinical work and offers accessible experiential approaches to build and include lived experience of the body in a self-reflexive way, grounded in a theoretical framework.
