Let’s believe survivors: a workshop of information, support and hope for survivors of sexual abuse and their supporters. This workshop will look at: shame, thinking patterns, memories, pleasure, sexuality and healing.

Workshop aims include:

  • breaking out of isolation and meeting others in a safe space
  • processing shame: and submissive behaviour
  • shifting stuck thought patterns
  • unpacking pleasure avoidance and sexual confusion
  • strategies for traumatic memories and flashbacks
  • reflecting on healing and integration

This workshop is:

  • safe for survivors and partners
  • relevant for professionals and counsellors
  • friendly and supportive.

Extensive Handouts and CPD Certificates are available. BACP Ethics apply.

We look forward to welcoming you, whether you are a survivor, a supporter or a professional.

Many of the team are attending all three roles. We understand how isolating sexual abuse can be, and we want to be part of the solution of breaking through the shame and loneliness.
