Certificate in Clinical Supervision
This short course is designed to offer relatively inexperienced supervisors a grounding in a range of supervision models and approaches to inform them as part of their development as supervisors. We aim to offer a framework from which to practice and develop, whilst being aware of the boundaries and safeguarding issues that emerge in the supervision setting. This course provides basic supervision training and is a precursor to more advanced supervision training if required.
Will be of interest to:
Therapists who are two years post qualification/accreditation wishing to enter into or develop their supervisory role. It would be beneficial if the candidate is offering supervision whilst undertaking the course. It is essential that candidates are a member of an appropriate professional body (BABCP/BACP/UKCP).
The course is offered over a period of four months, with one day per month in training complimented by independent study and supervisory practice. Training days are as follows:
- Spring Course: 28/02/15, 28/03/15, 25/04/15, 09/05/15.
