1-1 immersive counselling retreat at Home Farm, Shropshire
Sometimes what you need isn’t another week of fitting healing into an hour. Sometimes you need real time and space – given over entirely to you.
This private residential retreat at Home Farm, near Shrewsbury, offers two nights and three days of immersive therapeutic work, with exclusive use of The Hornbill – peaceful accommodation set in the grounds. It’s designed for individuals carrying stress, anxiety, trauma, grief or a difficult life transition, who are ready to slow down, go inward and emerge somewhere different.
Set in quiet Shropshire countryside, the retreat is built entirely around you. We begin gently, settling the nervous system, before moving into deeper therapeutic work over the days that follow, drawing on talking therapy alongside body-based approaches such as somatic practices, EFT, clinical hypnotherapy and the Rewind Technique for trauma, chosen to fit what you need. There is time to rest, to walk in the grounds and to let things settle between sessions, before we close with integration: what has shifted and what you’re taking home.
Because stress, anxiety and trauma don’t only live in our thoughts – they live in the body too – this retreat works with your whole self, mind and nervous system together.
Every retreat is bespoke and can be arranged at a time that suits you. Before booking, we’ll have a conversation to understand what you’re hoping for and shape the days around you.
