About me

Hello, I'm Zoe! I'm a counsellor based in Bristol.

Sharing what you're going through can feel incredibly daunting, but the results can be life changing. I hope to create a warm, non-judgemental environment that's comfortable for you so we feel able to be honest and open with each other. I won't analyse you or offer quick fixes, instead, I will be alongside you, helping you feel less alone when facing painful and upsetting things. I genuinely love my clients and feel honoured that I get to see their honesty, bravery and all the things that make us human!

I'm a person-centred counsellor. This means I focus on how we can work together towards your aims and create the changes you wish to see in your life. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I'm here to listen and support you.

I have previously worked with clients experiencing:

  • Depression
  • Suicidal feelings
  • Anxiety
  • Relationship issues
  • Addiction
  • Anger
  • Low self-esteem
  • Trauma

Anything you wish to talk about is welcome, and I'm happy to explore and support you through everything you want to bring to counselling.

I offer a free introductory 15 minute call which you can book at the top of my profile or you can pop me an email. I'm happy to answer any questions you have.

I'm a BACP member and follow their Ethical Framework.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
