About me
We sometimes lose sight of who we are and what we truly want from life. We become overwhelmed with life's challenges and responsibilities and feel disconnected and uncertain about the direction we want to take. Therapy can be a safe and supportive space to be heard without judgement, helping you to reconnect with yourself, gain greater understanding and move towards improved wellbeing, and a more fulfilling life.
Hi, I’m Yvonne, an NCPS Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor based in Barnsley, offering both short and long term therapy face to face and online.
Life can be tough, I offer support to help you navigate the challenges. Working predominantly in a person-centred way, providing a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space where you explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we can work towards a deeper understanding of the difficulties you may be experiencing.
I support both adults and young people with a range of emotional and mental health concerns, including grief, bereavement relationships, life changes, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, menopause, career development and personal growth. I also support young people and adults through education-related challenges, including exam pressure and transitions such as moving to University and adjusting to new environments. I offer both in-person and online sessions in a warm, relaxed environment.
