About me
Hello
Life can feel overwhelming, and you may be tired of carrying things on your own. You may be grieving the loss of someone important, struggling in a relationship, or going through changes that leave you feeling unsettled, lonely, or unsure of where you belong. Perhaps you feel stuck in familiar patterns, exhausted by stress or burnout, overwhelmed by anxiety, or experiencing low mood.
Sometimes you may not be able to put into words exactly what's wrong—only that life feels harder than it should right now.
Many of the people I work with are navigating life's transitions—those times when who you were no longer feels like who you are becoming. Whether change has come through loss, relationships, work, family life, health, or simply a growing sense that something needs to be different, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where you can talk openly and explore your experiences at your own pace. Together, we can develop a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, relationships, and the challenges you are facing, helping you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Sometimes we can understand something intellectually but still find ourselves responding in familiar ways. Therapy can provide a space to gently explore these patterns, including how past experiences may continue to influence the way we think, feel, relate to others, and experience ourselves.
My approach
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to you as an individual, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to support your unique needs and experiences. Talking isn't always easy, so where it feels helpful, we can also use creative ways to explore thoughts and feelings, supporting reflection and insight.
My work is neurodiversity-affirming, and I adapt therapy to support different ways of thinking, feeling, processing, and communicating.
Alongside talking therapy, I work with an awareness of the connection between mind and body, recognising that difficult experiences can affect us both emotionally and physically. We may explore not only your thoughts and feelings, but also how experiences are held and expressed through your body.
My background
My own experiences of navigating change, including living overseas and returning home, have deepened my understanding of what it can feel like to adapt, rebuild a sense of belonging, and find your way through periods of uncertainty.
How I work
I work with adults and young people aged 14+.
My aim is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, including the patterns, emotions, and experiences that have shaped you, so that you can create meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and right for you.
I offer sessions online and in person in Tring and Dunstable. Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place on the same day and time each week. Therapy can be short term, focusing on a specific issue, or open-ended, depending on what feels most helpful for you.
If you feel ready to take the first step, I'd be glad to hear from you. I offer a free introductory call where we can talk about what has brought you to counselling, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
