About me
I am 58, female, I am mostly person-centred, but will include other theories when it's beneficial for the client. I work online or face to face. I have a custom-built cabin in my garden, it’s very private, warm and welcoming. I offer a 15 minute consultation, free to introduce myself and see how we can work together. I believe in the power of listening in a non judgemental way, allowing the client to feel safe, comfortable and to able to feel free to talk about whatever is on their mind.
I am a trained hypnotherapist so I can also offer relaxation techniques for anyone who may be feeling a little anxious or overwhelmed.
Training, qualifications & experience
Completed studies at North Herts District College, Stevenage, encompassing three years of person-centred training followed by an integrative Level Four diploma, exploring various therapeutic modalities.
Maintained a foundational commitment to the person-centred approach
Throughout all training, recognising the essential role of active listening in therapeutic relationships.
Qualified as a hypnotherapist, integrating relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to assist clients experiencing anxiety or 'fight or flight and relaxation and relieving stress

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
