  • I work integratively using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt, Compassion Focused and Transactional Analysis
  • Worked as University Lecturer in Counselling

  • Happy to explain the counselling process and how CBT works
  • Will thoroughly assess your needs and tailor sessions to suit you
  • Based in Nailsea but home visits are a possibility
  • Experienced in working with adults and adolescents from all walks of life
  • Can offer long or short term work

I appreciate how hard it can be to take the first step and get in touch with a counsellor. You may have been thinking about it for some time. I try to make this first step as easy as possible so if you call or email me we can arrange a first session to talk about what you want to get out of counselling. I can also offer you guidance about the counselling process and explain how humanistic counselling or CBT works. If you are then happy to continue I'll arrange the next session on a weekly or fortnightly basis, whatever you prefer.

Life can throw up all sorts of unexpected problems and issues and sometimes it feels like we are alone, just don't know who to speak to or can't cope with life - I can offer you a safe, confidential space to explore your feelings and thoughts. You will find me approachable and non-judgmental and you will hopefully gain an understanding of yourself and your situation through the counselling process.
