My name is Wendy Churchill and I am a Relate trained relationship counsellor, working part time for Relate as well as seeing couples and individuals as part of my private practice. I am experienced at working with couples and individuals at every stage in a relationship.
I offer friendly effective counselling for couples and individuals currently via Zoom or over the phone.
My aim in counselling is to provide you with a safe, caring, confidential and supportive space to allow couples and individuals to explore and understand themselves and their relationship.
I have worked with a wide range of problems including communication difficulties, anxiety, depression, divorce, affairs, self esteem, grief, issues of trust, difficulties with the wider family, cultural differences, and changes in the relationship such as a new baby, illness, retirement and many more.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Areas of counselling I deal with
The Initial Consultation (£30 for up to an hour) is an opportunity for me to get to know you and the reasons why you are interested in couples counselling and, for you to get to know me and ask any questions you may have. If we all decide we would like to work together, ongoing counselling sessions are charged at £75 for each 50 minute session.
I currently have availability and can offer sessions with flexibility from early morning through to the evenings and including weekends.
