About me
Supporting Adults with Stress Management & Bereavement Support in Warrington and Online Nationwide.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by stress or struggling with the loss of someone important to you? You don't have to face it alone.
I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, explore your thoughts and emotions, and begin to find a way forward at your own pace. Whether you're feeling emotionally exhausted, navigating grief, or finding life's pressures difficult to manage, counselling offers the opportunity to pause, reflect, and focus on your wellbeing.
Hi, I'm Vicky, an integrative counsellor working from a person-centred foundation. I specialise in supporting adults experiencing stress, anxiety, and bereavement, tailoring each session to your individual needs. By drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches, I work alongside you to help you build resilience, process difficult emotions, and regain a sense of balance.
With over 20 years' experience in health and social care, I have supported adults and families through some of life's most challenging experiences. My background includes helping people adjust to life-changing health conditions, including dementia, as well as supporting those living with grief, anticipatory loss, and the emotional impact of caring for loved ones. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how stress and loss can affect every aspect of life.
I offer counselling in a way that works for you:
In-person counselling from my private counselling room in Rixton, Warrington.
Online counselling via Google Meet, available to adults anywhere in the UK.
Telephone counselling for those who prefer to talk by phone.
Walk & Talk Therapy in the green spaces around Birchwood (weather permitting).
Sessions are relaxed, compassionate, and free from judgement. There is no expectation to have all the answers or know where to begin - this is your space to talk, reflect, and be heard. You can also choose to change the format of your sessions from week to week, depending on what feels most helpful.
If you're looking for support with stress management, bereavement, or coping with life's challenges, I'd be pleased to help. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so we can discuss what's bringing you to counselling and whether we're the right fit to work together.
Taking the first step can feel difficult, but you don't have to do it on your own. Whenever you're ready, I'm here to support you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
