About me

Autism and ADHD assessments for children, young people and adults, and post-diagnostic support.

I will accompany you on a journey, as together we shed light on and make sense of experiences. We will work together, empowering you to move through the difficulties that are getting in the way.

At Lucens Psychology Services, myself together with a small caring multidisciplinary team provide formal diagnostic assessments of autism and ADHD for children, young people and adults. We use gold standard assessment tools alongside psychological formulation to support a thorough and meaningful understanding of neurodevelopmental differences, delivered with care, clarity, and following guidelines by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE).

We also offer post-diagnostic support with psychology and occupational therapy input to help individuals process and integrate their diagnosis, and to navigate challenges in everyday life.

Our services include:

NEURODIVERGENCE CONSULTATIONS
For adults and young people wishing to explore autism or ADHD as a potential explanation for any challenges they experience, and are considering an assessment or different types of support, but are not sure what they would like to do next.

AUTISM and ADHD ASSESSMENTS
Full formal assessments of autism spectrum condition (ASC) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) for adults, children and young people. Offered in a collaborative and neuroaffirmative way with a small team of caring and highly experienced professionals.

POST-DIAGNOSTIC SUPPORT
For individuals and families who wish to make sense of experiences, and social and relational concerns, in the context of autism or ADHD, and who want to move towards a more fulfilled and meaningful personal or professional life.

If you would like to book an initial introductory phone or video call (free of charge) to discuss your needs and what you would like support with, or to book an initial consultation, please email drvictoriabrattan@lucenspsychology.com.

Further information

As a Clinical Psychologist, I am trained in various approaches, which allows me to offer a bespoke holistic therapeutic experience, tailored to the individual and the issues at hand. Sessions can take a variety of formats as agreed, such as inside or outside of the traditional therapy room, and may include walk-and-talk, movement and mind-body therapeutic practices, and can be practical as well as reflective.

I believe that values-based living and holistic and creative approaches to therapeutic work are not only important to overcome periods of crisis in life but also serve in the prevention of serious mental health difficulties and foster greater overall health and wellbeing.

Please send an email with a brief description of what you are experiencing, or book an introductory call.  I will be in touch soon afterwards and we can take it from there.
