About me

Hi, I'm Victoria, a qualified HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist offering online art therapy for adults and young people.

Sometimes words aren't enough to express what we are feeling or experiencing. Art therapy offers another way to explore what is going on inside, without needing to have all the answers or be "good at art". There is no pressure to create something finished or beautiful - the focus is on the process and what it can help you discover.

My approach is gentle, non-directive, and grounded in empathy and curiosity. I incorporate somatic elements into sessions, helping you notice the connection between your emotions, your body, and the creative process.

I can support people experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, body image difficulties, chronic illness, disability, trauma, difficult medical experiences, emotional overwhelm, or periods of change.

Sessions are shaped around you. You might want to talk while you create, work quietly, or move between the two. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have an MA in Art Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths, University of London, and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I also hold an Enhanced DBS check.

I have worked with both children and adults across schools, hospitals and community settings, supporting people with a range of emotional and mental health needs, including anxiety, low self-esteem and autism.

My practice is also informed by lived experience of disability, medical trauma, body image challenges and chronic illness. This has shaped my particular interest in how difficult experiences can affect our bodies, our relationship with our bodies and our sense of ourselves.

I bring this understanding to my work while recognising that everyone's experience is different. My role is to offer a space where you can explore your own experience without judgement or assumptions.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Further information

I believe therapy should be a space where you can come as you are - you don't need to know exactly what you want to say or have everything figured out before we begin.

Art can provide a gentle bridge between what we feel and what we can put into words. Through creating, we can slow down, notice what is happening within us, and explore different parts of ourselves with curiosity and compassion.

You may find yourself drawing, painting, making marks, using collage, or simply experimenting with materials. There is no right or wrong way to create.

I offer sessions in English or Italian, with some support available in Spanish depending on your needs.

If you're unsure whether art therapy is right for you, I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can talk about what you're looking for and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
