About me

For anyone beginning counselling before the end of August, I’m offering a reduced rate of £35 for in‑person sessions and £30 for online sessions.

I offer online counselling for adults across the UK as well as in person sessions in Bishop’s Stortford, providing a safe, compassionate space to explore whatever you’re going through. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for something to shift, I’m here to support you at your own pace.

I provide a calm, confidential space where you can talk openly and make sense of what’s happening in your life. My approach is grounded in empathy, acceptance, and genuine human connection, helping you feel supported as you explore your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you.

I provide a warm, inclusive, non‑judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely heard. My approach is rooted in person‑centred values, which means I place you — your experiences, your pace, your needs — at the heart of our work together.

As a qualified counsellor with a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice, I bring empathy, authenticity, and gentle curiosity into each session. My aim is to help you feel safe, understood, and supported as you explore whatever you’re facing.

How I Work

My counselling style is warm, approachable, and grounded. I work collaboratively, tailoring therapy to suit your needs — whether you’re looking for short‑term support around a specific issue or a longer journey of deeper exploration.

Short‑term therapy

Helpful if you’re navigating a particular challenge, life event, or emotional difficulty and want space to talk, reflect, and develop coping strategies.

Long‑term therapy

Ideal if you want to explore deeper patterns, unresolved experiences, or ongoing feelings of disconnection, overwhelm, or low self‑worth.

Together, we may focus on:

• Understanding your feelings and experiences
• Building self‑awareness and self‑acceptance
• Exploring identity, direction, or life transitions
• Developing healthier relationships with yourself and others
• Noticing and shifting unhelpful patterns
• Building resilience and new ways of coping
• Anything else that is going on for you

Who I Work With

I welcome adults from all backgrounds and walks of life. Here are some of the issues you may need support with:

• Anxiety and stress
• Low mood and depression
• Feeling lost or overwhelmed
• Relationship issues
• Hormonal or menopausal emotional challenges
• Loss, grief, and bereavement
• Self‑esteem and confidence
• Personal development and self‑exploration

My practice is inclusive and it's important to me that you feel safe, respected, and accepted exactly as you are.

What You Can Expect

• A calm, confidential space
• An initial meeting to explore your hopes for counselling
• Regular reviews to ensure your needs are being met
• Clear information about boundaries and the counselling process
• A pace that feels right for you

I work ethically and professionally, adhering to the standards of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I engage in regular supervision and ongoing training to ensure I offer the best possible support.
