A warm welcome to Waterways Therapy, and the start of our journey together. My name is Verna, and I am a fully insured, qualified Person Centred Counsellor. I am very passionate about helping my clients find their smile again, self-love, and acceptance, enabling your true, authentic self to emerge. I have been working with children, adolescence and adults for several years. I am currently freelancing with First Steps - Eating Disorder Charity, and have counselled clients on placements at SARAC - Rape and Abuse Charity, Cruse - Bereavement Charity, and Place 2 Be - Children's Mental Health Charity. I hold a Designated Safeguarding Lead Certificate and an Enhanced Criminal Record Check Certificate.
