Verity Lewis Human Givens Practitioner And Therapeutic Coach
I am collaborative and empathetic and you can explore constructively the changes you want to make in a safe and confidential space. As a qualified therapist I can help you gain personal insight, self-acceptance and the knowledge and skills that enable emotional well-being.
I also respect and accept without judgement that each of us is unique and our approaches to life may differ.
At some point in our life, many of us feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges. These can either be events in our life or our own inner struggles. At such times it can be difficult to see any solution to our problems and to recognise our choices or feel confident to overcome our fears. This is when I can help.
I have had a lifelong interest in health and well-being - I started my working life as a nurse and spent 12 years as an intensive care specialist. Since then I have held senior roles as a policy adviser for the Royal College of Nursing and as a management consultant working with organisations to create healthy and supportive workplaces in which staff can reach their full potential.
Training, qualifications & experience
I work with adolescents, individuals and I have a broad range of experience across a range of issues but in particular anxiety, depression and trauma. I also work with couples and individuals to resolve relationship and sexual problems.
I am currently undertaking a specialist diploma in relationship and psycho-sexual therapy.
My therapeutic qualifications include Human Givens Therapist (Member of the Human Givens Institute; Fusion Therapeutic Coach (NCFE accredited); Clinical Hypnotherapist (Member of the British Society for Clinical Hypnosis).
I am a member of the Association for Integrative Coach Therapist Professionals and an associate member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
