Vanessa Beaton BSc Hons Dip in management MBACP (Registered) ACC (Accred)
I have worked as a counsellor in a range of different settings, both statutory and voluntary, since 2003 working as part of a team, and in my private practice. I have provided face to face, time limited and open ended professional counselling. I have worked with clients on a range of different problems and concerns, including: Depression, Anxiety and stress, panic attacks, Issues around self-esteem and self-worth, depression, sexual abuse, Loss of meaning and lack of purpose in life, Work issues, Relationship difficulties, Bereavement and loss, Obsessive feelings and behaviour.
I realise it may be daunting to seeking support and my aim is to provide a safe, non judgemental space in which to explore life challenges and difficulties that are effecting you. It is my belief that that every person is unique and is on their own individual journey through life.
I offer both short - term and also long - term psychotherapy and provide a safe and confidential area where you can explore some of the difficult feelings that may be coming up for you.
