About me
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist supporting individual clients and couples to make positive changes to manage a range of issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, low mood, family issues, ADHD, bereavement, life changes, trauma, relationship difficulties, and low self-esteem. I can offer sessions in both Ascot and Guilford. Whether you're considering counselling for the first time, you are looking for further help or you would like to understand yourself and your feelings better, I'm here to offer a safe, judgment-free space for you to share your experience. There is power in being genuinely heard and understood. Whether in person or online, together we can reflect on your concerns and explore the changes you wish to make.
I am a counsellor with a base in person-centred therapy and integrative counselling. Counselling that responds to your situation and needs can benefit anyone looking for a more balanced and optimistic future. I draw from a variety of psychological models to meet each client's unique needs.
If you are a couple and your relationship is in a negative place couples counselling can be a good way to make positive changes. I can help you to navigate reconciliation or separation depending on what’s right for you.
My own path to becoming a counsellor was inspired by personal experiences that highlighted the value of seeking support during challenging times.
I understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes we need extra help to find our way. Why not reach out and find out how we can achieve positive change in your life together?

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
50 min in-person or online sessions are charged at £70 in Ascot and £85 in Guildford for individuals and £120 for 60min couples sessions
I offer a free 20-minute introductory phone conversation for you to get a sense of my approach and ask any questions you may have. During this time, we can briefly discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve, without any commitment. This allows you to consider whether we are a good fit for each other and if you'd like to proceed. I will provide you with my availability, and we can plan the next steps.
In our first full session (which will be 50min for individuals or 60min for couples) we can delve deeper into your history and any specific issues you want to focus on, as well as discuss how we will work together.
