About me

Hello and thank you for choosing to read my profile. This is a scary and difficult time for many with lots of uncertainty, at the moment I offer therapy by video call due to the circumstances that we are all going through.

Sometimes life can become overwhelming. Giving you situations that you did not see coming or long term problems that have become to much to bear. Which can make day to day life hard to handle.

Making life more difficult than usual where we struggle to make sense of what's going on. You may even feel stuck at the moment and you may not have anybody to talk to. Counselling will offer you a confidential/safe space where you can be open about the issues that are troubling you.

There are also many types of counselling. I am trained to use the person centered approach. Which means I will walk with you through your journey to ascertain what is troubling you. It is a non-intrusive form of counselling we will take the journey together and at your pace.

Taking the first steps to ask for help can be difficult and my experience has taught me that the relationship we will build is paramount to create a positive change. To be free and honest in a non judgmental place can be empowering, a chance to unpack the mind, understanding, and repack it back up to make moving forward easier.

Taking the first step is sometimes the hardest thing to do, I speak from personal experience. Our work together is to develop a therapeutic relationship to enable you to feel supported throughout your journey.

Please feel free to ask me any questions especially if they stop you asking for the support you may need.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
