About me
I’m a qualified Integrative counsellor who believes that everyone has potential to strive for growth within themselves.
I lead my practice with warmth and empathy to build trust so you can be comfortable being yourself within sessions. I facilitate a safe & non-judgmental counselling environment where we can go at your pace, and collaborate on what you wish to work on within yourself.
I offer short-term or long-term counselling depending on what you are looking for. We will work to uncover your aims & goals for counselling together and I will keep us on track towards this.
If you are struggling with something that you would like to talk about then I welcome you to reach out for an initial discussion and we can see where to go from there.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Psychology graduate, a fully qualified counsellor, and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
My experience as a counsellor includes short-term, solution-focused, and long-term work within low-cost, NHS, and private practice settings. I have worked as a Lead within an NHS Counselling Service, and currently work as a Senior Lead within an Agency Setting in London.
We will be able to discuss your own unique experiences and emotions that you may be struggling with, to find a way to move forward.
I have experience in counselling adults with a wide range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, isolation, gender & sexuality, relationships, bereavement, stress, bullying, confidence, self-esteem, purpose & direction, abuse, aggression, social anxiety, and trauma.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
