I have a practice in Stroud where I offer support to those suffering emotional turmoil of all sorts. I help people to heal from many types of problems and distress by working with the emotions rather than the mind.
Sometimes we are unable to understand the nature of our problems and how they developed in the first place, we feel stressed, depressed and generally weighed down by life – Therapeutic Counselling helps us to get to the bottom of such difficulties and offers a solution unique to you.
Approved by the National Counselling Society, Emotional Therapeutic Counselling has matured over the last 25 years or so into a process that helps clients to discover and use all that is healing and nurturing within themselves. As a therapist my aim is to offer support and encouragement through this process, the pace of which is always under the clients control. I work with a range of creative techniques that are designed to bypass the mind and help you to work through your difficulties at the level of emotion. This method suits many people, especially in the busy, modern environment where many of us do not have the time, or have simply forgotten how to tend to our own personal inner needs. My practice aims to provide you with the space and time you require to heal in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

Member of the National Counselling Society
For last 25 years I have lived in Gloucestershire where I have brought up my children and been a part of the local community. I have worked in both the commercial world and in caring roles and am dedicated to the practice and principles of the Foundation for Emotional Therapeutic Counselling of which I am a member.
Being a practising member of the Foundation, I work within our Code of Practice and have a supervisor who is also a long-standing, qualified member. My training and diploma are accredited by the National Counselling Society (NCS) of which I am a professional member. I am committed to on-going training, supervision and my own personal development and meet regularly with peers for mutual support and to advance techniques and good practice.
