About me

Everyone expects something from you – at work, at home, your friends. You give so much of yourself trying to meet those expectations that there's nothing left for you. Everyone else comes first, and somewhere along the way you stopped mattering, at least that's how it feels. You'd love to talk to someone about how much you're struggling, but finding someone you can trust, someone who will truly listen and who won't judge you can feel really difficult.

As an integrative counsellor my approach blends psychodynamic and person-centred therapy. This means that our work together may sometimes look to the past to better understand the roots of present-day difficulties whilst keeping your unique experience and your value and worth as an individual at the heart of everything we do.

By working online, I am able to work with clients across the UK and can offer a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever issues or concerns you want to.

I genuinely care about the people I work with and place them at the heart of my practice. Every client is unique, and I work to provide safe, personalised counselling where you feel seen, heard, and supported.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am degree educated and I trained as an integrative therapist with a focus on Psychodynamic and Person-Centred counselling, achieving a Therapeutic counselling (Diploma) in 2025.

My experience spans working with clients who are:

Feeling anxious, stressed, or depressed
Grieving a loss - of a loved one, a job, or a life path
Exploring their past or present to understand themselves better
Neurodivergent or exploring their neurodivergence
Victims of domestic abuse
Exploring their gender identity

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients. I received my own ADHD diagnosis in my early 40s and that experience of finally understanding why certain things had always felt harder is something I bring to my work. If you are navigating a diagnosis, awaiting one, or simply curious about whether neurodivergence might be part of your story, I understand what that journey can feel like.
