About me
Hello, and welcome. I'm a psychologist and work with people who are experiencing a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, stress, phobias, and relationship difficulties. I am also passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community and I work in a gender-informed way, supporting with explorations of sexual and/or gender identity and associated experiences. Whether this is your first time in therapy, or you are simply looking for a new therapy space, I understand that starting therapy and finding the right therapist for you can feel overwhelming.
I work integratively in my approach, tailoring it to work alongside your goals and needs, while offering a warm and nurturing space. I incorporate different therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Practice, Systemic theory, Trauma Informed approaches, and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I am also training in EMDR, an evidence-based and effective approach for coping with trauma. Whatever the model, I aim to be warm and nurturing, and to offer you the space that you need.
Therapy can be a hard process, as well as an incredibly helpful and supportive one. I believe that it is important to find the right therapist for you, and so I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation so that we can think together about whether this is the right space for you.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
