About me
I am an Advanced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor Accredited by the National Counselling Society and a Professional Member of the Hypnotherapy Society These Professional Societies ensure that I am fully Qualified and keep up with my Continued Professional Development obligations. I am also fully insured.
Who ever said life was easy? For some of us it can be far from easy and life can get tough, complicated, filled with all sorts of problems; stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties. Life can get quite challenging and we can become overwhelmed by our emotions, feel out of control, or in the grip of anxieties, fears and phobias. We can develop habits/addictions; We worry, panic, suffer with sleepless nights, thoughts churning around and around in our minds, unable to escape from our own negative thoughts.
I have been on my own personal journey and healed my life. I am passionate about supporting others who wish to have more insight into their difficulties and manage more effectively.
One of the hardest things is to take that first step, deciding to talk to someone about ‘it’.
Please, come and share with me your difficulties and concerns, we can explore what ‘it’ is that is impacting on your life and together we can:
explore ‘it’
look at ‘it’
challenge ‘it’
resolve ‘it'
LET ‘IT' GO and move into the future
I can offer you support to think about, explore and discuss personal problems in a relaxed environment. Life can be difficult for all of us in all sorts of ways, so seeking independent help is not something to feel awkward or embarrassed about
My approach to counselling is Integrative, and in my work I integrate different theories appropriate to the issues that clients bring, Therapy is therefor tailor made to suit each client as one perspective doesn't suit all.
Integrative means the blending of parts together to create something new, different and positive,
Training, qualifications & experience

Anxiety is a feeling of unease. Everybody gets anxious when faced with a stressful situation, i.e. an exam or interview, worrying times such as illness. It's also normal to feel anxious when you face something difficult or dangerous. Mild anxiety can often be positive and useful, it motivates us. However if you have anxiety that is long-lasting and severe, it can impact on your life and interfere with your everyday activities. This can lead to low mood or depression.
