About me

Your time with me is dedicated to you. It’s an opportunity for you to share whatever is on your heart and mind, whether it’s emotional pain, confusion, or unresolved issues.

Together, we will explore how the mind and body show signs of distress such as indecision, confusion, unresolved issues, feeling overwhelmed by toxic relationships or unhealthy dynamics. By exploring these feelings and patterns, we can develop a better understanding of ourselves and how to respond more effectively in the future.

I am an integrative counsellor specialising in menopause, anxiety, depression, family issues, relationships, grief and loss, career progression, imposter syndrome, self-sabotage, and many other feelings of unfulfilled desires. My approach blends person-centred therapy, solution-focused techniques, and transactional analysis to best support you.

I am currently training to be a supervisor and will be taking on supervisees in August 2026.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over 4 years of experience helping clients with family and relationship issues, anxiety and depression. I hold a Level 5 qualification in Therapeutic Counselling. I am registered on both BACP and NCPS in the U.K. I hold an additional certification in Transactional analysis (TA101). I am trained in cultural competence and grief counselling.
I gained over 120 hours of CPD in 2025 attending lectures and workshops on trauma at Oxford's largest Transform trauma event. I have travelled to Indonesia to attend workshops on trauma and identity.

I use an integrative approach and tailor the sessions according to what my client prefers. This is usually determined in the introductory session together. Your choice and decisions are very important to me and they are the foundation for our therapeutic relationship to develop and help build on. We will work together and discuss how progress can be made to understand yourself better.

NCPS
National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
