I would describe myself as a naturally caring person who likes learning new things. I am looking to provide counselling support for individuals (children 9 years+ and adults) using online sessions such as telephone, watsapp or facetime offering more accessibility and convenience for you. I am able to work with individuals in Suffolk and surrounding areas such as; Norfolk and Essex due to using the online/telephone session approach. I do offer a reduced fee for initial introductory sessions.
Having experienced my own challenges and through my work with clients, I believe that we all have the capacity to learn and grow, to be able to embrace ourselves and experience how empowering this can be. I value and accept everyones uniqueness, differences, views, backgrounds and opinions. I feel counselling is a huge and brave step for anyone to take, and feeling ready and wanting to work on your own internal world is crucial for making those positive changes.
I enjoy working with others, providing guidance and support, this comes naturally to me and has led me into my professional career in counselling. Both my learning and life experience has enabled me to gain insight into different difficulties people can face. I believe the relationship is the most important part of the counselling process and I offer a non-judgmental, compassionate and safe place for you to bring what you feel you need. We can explore together to find your own answers and solutions. I bring my true-self into the counselling relationship whilst maintaining the professional boundaries and ethics in the work that I do. I draw from and blend many different theories during the counselling process. I believe every individual is unique and will need different ways of working to reach your goal. If you feel you could benefit from my services and start your counselling journey, I invite you to contact me and take the next step.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
