About me

I support adults with the emotional impact of living with a long-term health condition. This might include adjusting to an unexpected change in your life, shifts in your identity or sense of self, or coping with fear, anxiety, and uncertainty about your future. These experiences can feel overwhelming, and the psychological impact is different for everyone. Alongside my private practice, I work in an NHS cancer setting, supporting individuals at diagnosis, throughout treatment, and approaching end-of-life.

I offer a range of talking therapies: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy, and systemic approaches. If you have questions or are considering working together, feel free to get in touch - I offer a free 15-minute introductory call to see if I’m the right fit for you.

Depending on your preference, I can offer time-limited or open-ended therapy, as well as weekly, fortnightly or monthly sessions. I understand that therapy can be a great emotional and financial undertaking, and so strive to balance flexibility with consistency.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained as a Clinical Psychologist at University College London and qualified with a doctorate in 2024.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
