About me

I am a BABCP (British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Therapies) accredited CBT therapist. This means my practice has and continues to be governed by the BABCP and I have met certain criteria in order to reach accreditation. You can visit the BABCP website for more information about accreditation.

I offer therapy for difficulties such as Low self esteem, depression, PTSD and a range of anxiety disorders such as OCD, Social anxiety and many more. I provide a warm, friendly and personable approach to my practice, ensuring that my client is at the centre of the therapy. CBT is goal orientated, meaning that we work together and create a treatment plan that suits your presenting problem.

I am currently offering online or telephone sessions meaning that you can have your sessions flexibly around your day, in the comfort of your own home. Please do get in touch for a brief conversation or to arrange an assessment to ascertain if CBT is right for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • BSC Applied Psychology 2:1
  • MSC Mental Health Nursing with merit
  • PGDip Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with distinction

I have been working in mental health for a number of years (around 15!) having started as a support worker. My interest in mental health and people has never dwindled, and I now find myself in a very privileged position to be working 1:1 with people using CBT to help better peoples lives.

I work part time for the NHS in a Psychological Wellbeing Service (formerly IAPT) and one day per week (with some ad hoc evenings) in private practice.  I only work with adults of working age, so 18 years upwards.
