About me
I am an experienced psychodynamic therapist, working with young people and adults aged 18+ facing a range of difficulties. You might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or stuck, trying to cope with loss or a difficult relationship, or wondering why the same patterns keep repeating. Some people come with a specific issue, while others simply want a space to explore what's going on. Whatever brings you here, we'll work together to understand your experiences and find a way forward. Whether you're new to therapy or returning to it, you'll be met with warmth, curiosity and compassion. My aim is to offer a space where you feel heard, understood and able to talk openly, without fear of judgement.
I offer psychodynamic therapy, working collaboratively with you to make sense of your experiences, better understand yourself and explore how past experiences and patterns may be affecting you today. Together, we can develop greater understanding, helping you make meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
Finding the right therapist for you really matters. I believe that feeling safe enough to be yourself is one of the most important parts of therapy, and building that trusting relationship is at the heart of my work. You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If you think we might be a good fit, we can arrange an initial consultation to explore

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
Finding the right therapist is important.
When you get in touch, I offer a free 15-minute telephone call. This gives you the opportunity to share what has brought you to therapy and ask any questions you may have about how I work. It also helps us get a sense of whether we might work well together.
If you decide to go ahead, we will arrange an initial one-hour consultation. This first meeting is a chance to explore in more depth what has brought you to therapy, along with any relevant background. It also allows us to meet and think together about whether ongoing work feels right and how I can best help you.
Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes and take place weekly. These sessions are less structured, allowing space for exploration as our therapeutic relationship develops.
Fees
