About me
Hello, I'm Sue.
I'm a qualified counsellor working with young people, adults, couples and families. I'm trained and experienced in working with emotional issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, addiction, anger, stress, low self esteem, family issues and relationship conflicts, providing support through trauma, habitual thinking patterns, and unhelpful behaviours.
Maybe you’ve noticed more anxious moments lately, where you just don’t feel like yourself and you’re not quite sure why.
You might be experiencing conflict in your relationships, finding it difficult to get along with family members, or noticing patterns of unhelpful behaviours and habits creeping in as a way of coping. Perhaps you’re feeling a deep sadness or low mood that doesn’t seem to have an obvious cause.
Whatever you’re going through, you don’t have to face it alone. I'm here to help you explore these feelings, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and find healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges.
I will offer you a safe and non judgemental therapeutic space where you will feel comfortable to explore why that might be.
Our counselling sessions can take place either in person in a lovely relaxing setting within the heart of Spalding town, or alternatively online.
I work from a person centred therapeutic model, to ensure that during our time together, your needs always remain my primary concern.
Our sessions are delivered through a warm honest approach, encouraging self growth, awareness and understanding, to ensure your personal goals for counselling are met.
In recognition of this, I am able to offer a number of concession rates, which I am happy to discuss as part of a free 15 mins introductory chat.
I welcome the opportunity to talk and connect with you as we look to build an honest and genuine relationship together and begin our work to start unveil the real you. I know how scary this might be, so I'm happy to offer an informal 15 mins free introductory call so we can get to know each other. So why not call or drop me a message!

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
