About me
I work with clients who are ready & willing to do the work & appreciate support and a sounding board as they face some difficult situations.
It can be lonely navigating anxiety, fear, overwhelm or low moods which blocking your motivation. My clients learn to better understand themselves & reclaim their voice & confidence to rebuild what seemed lost. I am Sunny by name, Sunny by nature, warm & friendly. I accept clients regardless of how they identify, inclusive of all age groups & backgrounds. You do deserve emotional well-being and peace of mind & would be happy to see if we can work together to brighten up your days.
I work with my clients meeting then where they are at so we can navigate the best route and course of action. I work at your pace using a variety of approaches such as Psychodynamic, CBT, Gestalt & Humanistic. You are an individual with wealth in your story which we use to help you identify the opportunities to make life the changes you desire.
Through online sessions I support clients to explore what is holding them back and move forward from there. Therapy with me is safe & non-judgemental & sometimes with some tears. Training, qualifications & experience
From my work and life experience I have gathered many transferable skills and knowledge which led me to qualify as a psychotherapist counsellor. I was raised in the Uk and also lived in Canada and China for more than 10 years.
In addition to being a qualified psychotherapist I have qualifications in Human Psychology and Early years Education which have given me a deeper insight when looking at the impact of ones childhood on us as adults. Living and working in different countries has allowed to me appreciate how different and unique we are and treat every one of my clients with the dignity, respect, kindness and compassion ready to hear your story and to work with you on your individual journey.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I hold 2 places for sliding scale clients who are experiencing financial difficulty and a 10% discount for students, parents on maternity or paternity leave, NHS workers and teachers. Please enquire to see if a place is available and if you would qualify.
