About me

Counselling With You In Mind.  By searching this directory you have already taken the first step towards the counselling process.  I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to be the best they want to be. That is where counselling can help you. Exploring and unravelling how you are in your world, how you may want be. To change your thoughts, feelings and behaviours to suit your realistic needs and desires for a different way of being. More able to live a satisfying future.

I have experience in providing a safe, non-judgemental, nurturing, trusting and reparative place for you to explore whatever is causing you troubles or hurt at this time. I can facilitate you in making sense of your experiences in your world.  By using a sound framework of various theories to suit each individual client, working creatively where appropriate, being thoughtful, mindful and respectful to client’s needs, we can establish a working relationship that will have an impact on your current situation. I value all clients for their individuality and experiences, whatever they are. Whether you are young, teenage, adults or an elder. I work differently with each individual depending on their needs.

I qualified from Wealden Psychology Institute and I am a Registered Member of the BACP. I hold a Diploma in Supervision from The Link Centre.

So you have got this far why not call me for an initial session to see if we can work together, if not I can recommend a colleague who maybe more in tune to your needs.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
