About me
I am an Integrative Counsellor working with individuals. I offer online counselling on Zoom and Skype, and telephone sessions.
As an Integrative Supervisor I work with student counsellors and qualified counsellors.
I offer a safe, supportive, friendly and confidential space to explore your feelings and what is going on for you. A space to express yourself in the knowledge that I will not judge you - I will accept you as you are. I provide a warm and compassionate approach and I aim to build and nurture a relationship of trust and honesty to enable you to gain a sense of choice in your life.
I believe that everyone has the ability to make changes in their lives and their thinking and, with support, can work towards a more contented and happy way of being. I am constantly in awe of the transformation that people can make through counselling and I feel privileged to be able to be a part of it.
I use an integrative approach to my work, based in Person-Centred counselling and drawing on other approaches (Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Psychodynamic) to inform my work. I acknowledge that each individual has a unique perspective on life and I tailor my approach to fit the needs of each person I work with.
I am experienced in a wide spectrum of issues including anxiety, trauma, PTSD, depression, low self-esteem, loss and grief, phobias, relationship and family issues as well as emotional, physical and narcissistic abuse. Or you may feel helpless and you don't know why.
