About me
I’m a Clinical Psychologist with 10 years experience in the NHS. I specialise in working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, burnout, trauma both recent and long-standing and the challenges that come with long-term health conditions.
My approach is integrative and grounded in evidence-based therapies like CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am also experienced in working with neurodiversity and adapting therapy to meet your needs.
I know meeting a new therapist can feel intimidating, so I aim to make our time together as comfortable, engaging, and collaborative as possible. I bring warmth, kindness, and authenticity to therapy, and I like to make space for a bit of levity.
Therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and safe to explore your experiences, without judgment.
I hope to help you reclaim your life, whatever that might look like for you. Therapy is first and foremost about connection, honesty, and making real progress in a way that feels human. Together, we’ll find ways to navigate challenges, make sense of difficult experiences, and create a life that feels more balanced, empowered, and yours again.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have the following qualifications:
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology; Royal Holloway University, University of London
- Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions for Common Mental Health Problems; University College London
- Bachelor of Science in Psychology, University of Liverpool
I am affiliated with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Membership confirms the reliability and validity of my qualifications and my professional status, as well as my credibility as a competent and effective Clinical Psychologist.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
