About me

Let's Walk and Talk

London’s beautiful green spaces provide a calm and tranquil setting to reflect on what’s going on in your life. The fresh air, natural surroundings and gentle movement can ease anxiety, lift mood, and help conversations to flow more freely.

Talking while walking side by side in nature can feel easier and more natural than sitting face-to-face in a counselling room.

For some, the counselling room is the right place. For others, walk and talk therapy offers a more relaxed and informal approach. We might take a steady stroll or a brisk walk, pause on a bench to watch the world go by, or even stop for a coffee. What matters most is creating a space where you feel comfortable to explore your past, reflect on the present, and think about your hopes for the future.

Walk and talk sessions usually last around two hours (with flexibility if needed) and can take place in all weathers, as long as conditions are safe. Recent sessions have taken place in Crystal Palace Park, Beckenham Place Park and Kensington Gardens. Please wear comfortable footwear and clothing suitable for the weather.

If this approach feels right for you, I’d be happy to talk further. Please feel free to get in touch to arrange a session.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Making sense of what is going on
I became a counsellor because I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported through life’s challenges. My own journey has shown me the importance of having a safe,     non-judgmental space to explore feelings and make sense of difficult experiences.

A Unique approach
My approach is integrative and underpinned by person-centred values. I listen closely to what you need and tailor each session to you. Together, we can explore what’s troubling you at your own pace, in a way that feels safe and supportive.

I work with anxiety, grief, stress, relationship issues, neurodiversity or those who simply want to feel more fulfilled and connected in their lives. Clients describe me as calm, warm, and down-to-earth. I bring curiosity and compassion into the room, and will challenge when it feels helpful.

Be the person you want to be. Happy!

I offer sessions face to face, online, by phone, and through walk-and-talk therapy in London's parks and green spaces. Most importantly, I want to help you find happiness!
