About me
I offer individual psychotherapy for adults and teenagers (16 plus) in a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space.
Many of the people I work with feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, stuck in the same loops, or disconnected from themselves. They may feel caught in survival patterns such as people-pleasing, perfectionism, overthinking, shutdown, or constantly pushing through.
You may come to therapy in a particularly overwhelming or difficult time in your life or feel ready to work through past experiences that still impact and shape your present life. I have particular experience in supporting people who had difficult childhood family dynamics and based on that may struggle with shame, inner criticism, low self-worth and (intimate) relationships.
Many of my clients have spent a lot of time trying to understand themselves and know their patterns well, yet still feel that something does not shift.
This is where an embodied and somatic approach can be especially helpful. I see the body as an inseparable part of who we are. It carries memories, patterns, trauma, resilience, and experiences that we cannot access through thinking alone. It is also connected to intuition and deeper forms of knowing, what many people might describe as a gut feeling.
My work is relational, holistic, and trauma-informed. I pay attention to what you bring, but also to how it shows up in your body, your relationships, and the different parts of you.
Depending on your needs and preferred way of working, sessions may include talking therapy, body awareness, mindfulness, inner-parts work, nervous system regulation, breathwork, movement, guided imagery, or creative exploration. I may also bring attention to the dynamics unfolding between us, as these can reflect relational patterns that show up elsewhere in your life. Exploring this openly and carefully can help build trust and create new possibilities in how you relate to yourself and others. I will always propose different ways of working with care and respect for your choices and readiness.
My intention is to create a trusting relationship where you can safely explore your inner world and make space for the parts of you that were pushed down, hidden, or not allowed. Together, we can meet what arises with curiosity and honesty, while going at a pace that feels right.
Over time, this can support greater self-trust, inner clarity, and choices that feel more aligned with your values, needs, and emotional world.

Experience:
I have experience offering individual psychotherapy and counselling to adults and teenagers (16 plus) in private practice, a low cost counselling service and in schools.
Throughout my work I have supported clients with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-worth, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity questions, and patterns rooted in early relational experience.
This has included working with clients navigating complex difficult family dynamics, estrangement, attachment wounds, emotional dysregulation, shame, self-criticism, and difficulties with boundaries, intimacy, and self-trust.
I also have experience supporting clients who wish to explore the connection between psychological distress and bodily experience, including clients who feel disconnected from their bodies, overwhelmed by emotion, or those who experience psychosomatic issues.
Alongside private practice, my training has included supervised clinical work and ongoing professional development in psychosynthesis psychotherapy, trauma-informed practice, somatic approaches, and relational depth work.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
