About me
You may be carrying grief, loss, or feelings that are difficult to put into words. Perhaps you’ve lost someone important, experienced a life transition, or are navigating changes in your relationships or sense of self.
Therapy can offer a space to feel heard, make sense of painful experiences, and begin reconnecting with yourself.
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist (MA Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy). I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, loneliness, trauma, or challenges with self-esteem. I have a particular focus on bereavement and loss, helping people navigate grief after a loved one’s death, the end of a relationship, significant life changes, or changes in how they see themselves. I offer a compassionate space where your experiences can be held with care and understanding.
How I Work
My integrative approach draws from different therapeutic models to best support your individual needs, combining reflective, relational work with practical strategies.
Together, we might:
- Explore emotional patterns and early experiences and how they influence your thoughts, feelings, and relationships today
- Examine questions of meaning, purpose, and self-compassion
- Develop practical ways to cope with day-to-day challenges and regain a sense of balance
My aim is to create a supportive, steady space where you can be heard, process grief or other challenges, and reconnect with your strengths.
If this resonates, you’re welcome to get in touch for a free, no-obligation 20-minute call. This gives us a chance to meet, discuss your needs, and answer any questions you may have.
Training, qualifications & experience
I work with clients both short-term and long-term, supporting them with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and stress.
I specialise in counselling adults experiencing bereavement, loss, and trauma. I’ve worked at a bereavement service and at a women's centre supporting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
I also have a special interest in perinatal mental health, supporting parents during pregnancy and the postnatal period with a range of issues, including postnatal depression, anxiety and feelings of isolation.
Alongside my therapy training, I bring 15 years of experience working in corporate and creative industries. This allows me to understand the pressures of high-stress environments, work-related anxiety, burnout, and the impact of demanding professional roles on wellbeing and relationships. I am experienced in counselling individuals working within the creative sector, helping them to navigate both personal and work related challenges.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Next steps
I offer a complimentary, no obligation initial consultation, lasting 20 minutes. This is an opportunity for us to meet, discuss your needs and explore whether it would be helpful for us to work together.
If after this you would like to go ahead, we can schedule our first full session, which lasts 50 minutes and is charged at the rate agreed during our initial call. During this session, I will go through my Counselling Agreement with you. It will also be a chance to explore your needs more fully and consider whether it would be helpful for us to work together. There is no obligation to continue beyond this session. If you feel I’m not the right therapist for you, I can offer recommendations for alternative support.
I work with clients on both a long term and short term basis, with appointments scheduled weekly in order to provide consistent support.
